ATC's 2008 Rick Perkins Award Winner Announced

greg-usseryThe Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction honors technical education’s most outstanding instructors. The award has been an ongoing statewide event since 1991 and is designed to recognize and honor technical college instructors who make significant contributions to technical education through innovation and leadership in their fields. The recipient of this distinguished award is recognized as the Technical College System of Georgia’s Instructor of the Year.

Altamaha Technical College’s Rick Perkins 2008 Award winner is Greg Ussery, an Electrical Construction Instructor.  “Greg has labored to produce graduates who meet the highest standards” stated college President Lorette M. Hoover.  “He takes pride in developing graduates who possess knowledge and skills to be safe and effective workers in the electrical field; and who exhibit professionalism, dedication, and work ethics to be model employees.
